Also: To celebrate the launch, a portion of my booth sales through April 30 will be donated to Hearthside Cats, Inc., a local cat rescue that makes a world of difference in our community.

Today's reveal is a tiny yet determined step towards the big dream of a brick and mortar shop. Fine & Splendid Things now has a vintage/upcycled decor and fabric department that will be operating from booth #226 in the Eastridge Antiques mall at at their Rochester, NY, location (in Irondequoit). Today was move-in day and getting the initial setup done, but there's lots more to come for this pop-up shop, so stay tuned!
The Etsy shop featuring handcrafted accessories and home decor remains open and more plans are in the works for 2024. If you're in the western New York area, please do visit Eastridge Antiques (including booth 226 ❤️) where you'll find loads of treasures. Something fun and fabulous is in the works! I've got some plans for the next phase of Fine & Splendid Things and this photo offers a hint. Stay tuned, all will be revealed on February 1.
Creative things are afoot in the atelier! These are lavender sachets I sewed from vintage cotton remnants. Each measures about 3 inches by 5 inches and they're filled with fragrant dried lavender buds. You can use the small burlap ribbon loop to place them around a clothing hanger or hook.
Are you a fan of dried lavender? Do you like to to use sachets for clothes, linens, your car, or to give as gifts? I'd love to know what you think! |
